Through portraits of a few revolutionary women, I'd like to tell the story of the struggles that are taking place now between Oakland and San Francisco. In the heart of Empire, where giant fortunes of the tech industry are almost taking over, a wave of resistance and power, sustained by a long tradition of self-determination, is rising. This women-led fight against police brutality and gentrification has become a movement that is announcing true change all over the US, and inspiring struggles all over the planet.
